TAKE UP SPACE
Hi, I’m Marina. I’m a writer, advocate, professional, mom, golfer, and I live with cerebral palsy. My walk, my hands, and how I move are a little different, but that doesn’t stop me from having ability, drive, or impact.
This blog comes from lived experience—juggling disability, work, motherhood, advocacy, humor, and identity in a world that often misunderstands difference. I write to challenge assumptions, show what disability really looks like, and remind people that confidence isn’t about fitting in—it’s about taking up space as you are.
My tone blends honesty and humor so hard truths are easier to hear. I don’t write to be praised for existing. I write to connect, contribute, and help make places where people are judged by their work, not by differences.
If you want to understand disability differently, rethink inclusion, or feel less alone, you’re in the right place.
Welcome. Take up space.
